Case Study — Web App

GHOSTTRACK

Location spoofer and geo-unlock console

Web App PythonFlaskJavaScriptLeaflet

The problem

Testing how websites behave for visitors in other countries — and reaching geo-locked services — normally means juggling a VPN, browser settings and guesswork about what a site can actually see.

What was built

A location-spoofing console plus a browser extension: set a location, apply identity bundles (language, timezone, user agent), per-site rules, a 0 to 100 consistency audit that checks whether the signals agree with each other, WebRTC leak protection, multi-stop routes and GPX import and export. A geo-unlock kit prepares the browser side for streaming services.

Challenges & solutions

Being honest about the two separate locks: the browser fingerprint, which GhostTrack controls, and the exit IP's country, which only the user's own VPN or proxy can change. The readiness check separates the two so you always know exactly what is blocking you.

Outcome

A working console with a live showcase deployment; the laptop app drives the paired browser extension locally.
