The problem
Schools need student ID cards that look official and can be verified, but design tools produce one-off images with no registry, no lifecycle and no way to tell a genuine card from a copy.
What was built
A student ID studio with 56 templates, per-student design snapshots so what you print is exactly what you designed, webcam photo capture, HMAC-SHA256 verification codes, card lifecycle states (active, revoked, replaced), batch printing, an audit log, login lockout and checksum-verified backup and restore.

Challenges & solutions
Print parity: early versions printed a different card from the one on screen because template choices lived only in the preview. The fix was a single shared renderer for the studio preview, the gallery and the print page, with each student's design saved alongside their record.
